Black blood.

I had a surgical abortion June 16th & got Implanon shortly after. I had that taken out on August 6th due to complications & had breakthrough bleeding for about 6 days. i started spotting two days ago and now have a bit of a flow going but it's black. when i wipe it's dark brown like old blood. is this normal?
