being induced tommorrow

i am going to the hospital at 8:30 in the morring to be induced.....i am becoming a little scared now.....reality is hitting me hard that i am going to be a mom.......and i am scared just to give labor...... 

Labor and delivery was such an amazing process ...I mean, it hurt at the time, but you forget the pain part fast! Good luck and congrats...you'll do great  !

I'm being induced at 7:30 AM tomorrow as well. :] Everything will be just fine, Good luck! (Okay, I'm totally nervous too. I'm not going to lie..haha)

i just got a call from my aunt......my cousin is being induced tommorrow too...wow i guess tomorrow is a lucky day....lol

I was induced on may 14th and had her the same day. I was really nervous too but everything was such a wonderful experience and i would do it everyday if i had to just to see her face. Its all worth it... i got the epidural and that made things alot easier for me. Its very relaxing. I loved it. I know you will do great its gunna be the best day of your entire life...Good luck to OP and Alyssia ...and again the epi is great...And to settle any fears of it..It doesnt hurt..at all just the fear of it going to will make you nevous so if your just relaxed you wont feel a thing... But yeah good luck im happy for you both.!!!!!!

Cool so you can totally get eveything ready to go to the hospital. You have the rest of the day to double check your check list.
CONGRATS! How exciting...I must be different then the OP I have not "forgot" my labors. You will do fine  Have ya taking any lamaze classes? I Promise knowing how to breath and not hold your breath is a WONDERFUL thing...and even if you haven't taken a class..just think in your nose out your mouth at *start of contraction taking in your air *peak of blow it out in quicksmall burst *then blow it out when the contraction is on the downhill slide. Thats right your contractions aren't a constant pain they come and go...and your reward? your lil one!!! (im jell-o) LOL cmon sept!

lol...thats great! hopefully you all actually deliver tomorrow! i was induced at 9pm and didnt have my daughter until 5:12pm the following day  

and i agree Aamerias mommy: GET THE EPI! lol its not bad at all (okay its really GOOD hehehe) if you can get the constant drip--go for it! I was SO convinced that it would be really painful to get the epi, that i cried. My husband had to hold me on the bed! lol but it didnt hurt at all.

congrats on your induction! i know how nerve-racking it is!! and dont forget to post pix when you get the chance!!  

I was induced also. I got pitocin at noon and had her by 9:18 pm, so not a long labor at all!

good luck... and it is scary to be a mom for the first time.. but when you see that little baby you will know what to do, and I am sure you will do great at it!! hope all goes well for you tomorrow!!!!

True my 3rd dd (which was the only time I was induced) I had the epi it was wonderful...they made everyone leave the room though when I got mine my (now x hubby) wasn't aloud to hold me...Shoot I playedUNO right up till they dropped the bottom of my bed. (Theres something to bring to make time not drag so bad a card game)

Which ever way you choose you will do great! Does seem like the time don't go by fast enough huh?I know it don't matter what I say but do "try" to get some good sleep tonight..you will need to get your sleep

wow, uno?! hehehe! shoot, i dont know if it was because of the Epi or just from sheer exhaustion from carrying her an extra 8 days and not sleeping, but i was knocked out right up until my delivery started. I mean, i actually said some snide remark to my FIL while i was out of it!! lol i swear, when i was consious, it felt almost like i was drunk, but without the lightheadedness and puking...i was sorta slurring my words from what my hubby tells me..wow. but it was SO nice not to feel contractions!   i actually hallucinated (okay, thats what i call it..) that whenever i had a contraction, i didnt feel it, it was just pressure and this is what i saw when i closed my eyes:

and as the contraction went on, i just imagined the lines (starting from the bottom and going up) were slowly disappearing until there werent any lines left and the contraction was over.

LMAO! Get out! Maybe you had a lil twilight too? I was completely aware even was leading in wins in uno...lol I just couldn't feel my lower half it was wicked to not be able to lift my own legs...but I was not stoned feeling at all..I do remember it only taking on one side and my nurse midwife asked me to lay on that side and I laughed at her (she had a cool personality and the same 1st name..lol) and said yeah right quit picking on me and she wasn't lieing it worked. Right when I was delivering I felt pressure but it was over and she was there. It is amazing though how much love you feel for that lil one.
