Heartburn...did you have this?

I wanted to ask some of you who have experienced heartburn...do you feel it in your face? Sounds crazy, but I can remember this with Evan's pregnancy and now the past two days I have been feeling it again. It's like a painful muscle "stretching" over my left eye and into my forehead. I sometimes feel the same "stretching" pain in my chest with heartburn, but 90% of the time it's only in my face...
I am gonna cry if this is already starting...with Evan I didn't get it till the last few months of my pregnancy...and usually only a bedtime when I was laying down. This is staying on even after being up and moving around this morning!

I'm thinking along another track instead of heartburn...stress maybe? I used to have anxiety/stress headaches and the pain sounds similar, except I had it across the back of my head and up to my forehead.

Hmmm...I get stress headaches at the base of my neck. This is different, and it's just like what I had with Evan everytime I would lay down towards the end of my pregnancy. I guess it could be stress related, but Zantac worked to clear it up with my last pregnancy. Hopefully I am not the only crazy one who feels heartburn in her face! lol

I've had heartburn most my life and HORRIBLE during my pregnancy. Im on presription meds for the heartburn its so bad, yet i've never experienced that stuff before. Im gonna agree with her on it prob being stress headaches. Ive never heard of heartburn being in ur head before or causing muscle issues. hm.. Sounds uncomfortable though

Weird I know it stinks that it's starting so soon for you, but at least you know what worked last time for you...hopefully it works again!

I had really bad heartburn with my DS, but never felt what you felt. I only felt it in throat/neck area. I would also feel itall day at times. I would drink water and it would trigger it. I took tums and that helped me out and then it got to the point where at night I would have to fall asleep sitting up for awhile and then later on I would lay down. Go to the doctors and ask them what they know and think you should do.

Aww...in the face? I can't say I have ever had that. I get heartburn regularly now, but definitely no feelings in the head area. I say ask your doc.

I feel heartburn all the way up to the back of my throat but never to my face. Have you asked the doc about it? I've never heard about that symptom before, doesn't mean it's not one for you. But I've just not known anyone to have that.
