Quoting Brittany17_5:“ They told me that I have to listen to her and that I cant leave without her permission. Which sucks.”How long till you turn 18? Is she acting any better this morning?
Quoting Brittany17_5:“ They told me that I have to listen to her and that I cant leave without her permission. Which sucks.”
Quoting Brittany17_5:“ They talked to her and Told us not to talk last night that we could talk today. She is still sleeping, ... [snip!] ... dont think she will be any better. If I leave my mom said that she will call the police and and have them come looking for me.”Well, she will eventually just have to accept it. My mother was pretty bad throughout my entire pregnancy, but she got better everyday and she is still improving, but its a lot better now.
Quoting *alyssa*:“ im pretty sure being pregnant underage automatically emancipates you. you might want to look into it in your state”It doesnt, in any state.
Quoting *alyssa*:“ Maryland law says that if she is to move out and set up residence with the father of the child since ... [snip!] ... age of 16 she will be emancipated. if shes living with her parents she is only emancipated in aspects regarding her pregnancy.”That is the same in every state, but you still have to go through the emancipation process. You arent techincally emancipated until you go to court, but moving out and getting your own place aids in getting emancipated.
