Could it be cancer (long)

Okay so last night I was doing the whole check for breast cancer thing, well I noticed that on almost the same spot on both armpits I have a not, Very small but it's there! I don't know what to do about it! I can't talk to my husband b/c he is deployed...... one - I don't want to worry him, two - I don't know if it is cancer, and three - there is not way that I would know if he would get my email b/c they are or very soon not going to be able to use email and there will be absolutely no way of getting a hold of him until around the time the baby is born which is when he is supposed to be coming home!
I really don't want to talk to any of my family about it b/c they are all thousands of miles away and I don't want to worry them b/c they will freak out b/c I have a huge chance of maybe getting it b/c my mom has cancer and a virus in her blood that is a fertilizer for cancer (not leukemia)
I don't know if I want to tell my friends until I know more!
And I don't want to go to the Dr. b/c I am really scared and don't know what they will do

I guess my big question is.......Can you still breastfeed if you have cancer and you are not doing any treatment for it?

And could it just be new veins going thru there? I heard that during pregnancy your body makes all these new veins to get blood to the baby

Go to the doctor if your worried. Most likely it isnt cancer if it is on both armpits. But its better to go to the doctor scared then to lose your life. Also no, I dont think it effects your breastfeeding with no treatment.

I apologize but i kinda skimmed through your post. I have a lump on my armpit too, ive been told its harmless and its a enlarged lymph node, nothing to be worried about.

I had something similar, and my mom died from breast cancer, so I was freaking out, but my dr. says it where the milk ducts are and they will feel like lumps.

I've got lumps there. They are actually lymph nodes and they are connected to the ones in your breasts. Mine got very swollen when I had a breast infection. Yours might just be bigger now are you're getting read to breast feed. If you're worried a doctor can put your mind at rest though.

I was gonna say I think they are enlarged lymph nodes or possibly milk ducts. Definitely don't panic, but just ask your Dr. @ your next apptmt. If you are really worried then call and get in sooner.

i would say that it could be like a fibro-adnoma or something like that.
i have one in both my breasts, theyre just little benign tumors.
i would ask your doctor if youre concerned though.
