How old is to young

I'm due Sep 5 and I am having a little girl, I just want to know how old should she be when get her ears pierced?

my first reaction is to say when she is old enough to ask for them. my second is to tell you to wait till she has at least had her first set of shots, if you chose to give shots

Most places wont do it until they are atleast 2 or 3 months old and you have to have proof that she has had her shots

This, basically.

When she tells you she wants them and understands how to take care of them.

Its up to you honestly, I'd wait until she was at least 6 months to a year old or wait until she can tell you she wants them, just my opinion

I got my daughters done at a year. My mother got mine done at 6 weeks, but that was 25 years ago and times have changed. Most places won't pierce under 2 months.

Some places do have rules. But it really depends on what you think. Mine were pierced at 6 weeks the first time. The second was for my 8th birthday when I asked for them. Like I wasn't getting them anyway, my mom just made it out to be a gift. LOL I know 6 weeks is young, but dude...I'm 32. Well, officially at 12:36pm central Texas time I will be.   It was pretty common back then to do when ever.

I'd also choose a place that has a good rep. Ask around. My daughter was 6 months when she got hers. What a trooper! Barely cried (because of the noise), and never once pulled at them. She's 20 months now and still doesn't touch them. I keep them clean everyday.  

I pierced my daughters ears the day it could be done, which is 2 months.She cried for a minute & it was all over

Yea I was thinkin I want her 2 be 3-6 months. I feel if I get them done when she younger she wont play with them as much
