theres really no easy way to do it. Id say the best thing to do is just come out and tell her that her mom passed away.

Maybe something like "I understand you don't like your mother very much, but you have the right to know that she's passed away."

I'd sit her down and tell her exactly what happened.

I agree, just come out and tell her. :/ There's never an easy way to tell someone that someone so personally close to them is gone. She may have hated her mom, but I don't truly believe you can ever hate the people that brought you into this world. :/ I hope everything goes alright.

I'd use a card and leave information to contact her family and the location of the grave site in the card and tell her you're there if she needs you. I'd leave it at that.

I'd just say I have some bad news and tell her. Then be there for her because its gonna be a rough ride.

I'd just be upfront and honest. Can't really sugar coat this kinda thing.

one mama on here had to do the same thing a couple years ago. She just sat her down and told her. The little girl was 6 or 7. So she had to have some counseling and all that. There isn't any easy way to tell her that her momma isnt coming back

I would be honest and sit down and tell her she passed away. I would have a grief counselor lined up for her to help her and you guys deal with how she may feel
