If there is a question usually they just do blood work and if the HCG fails to zero out then they'd want to do an ultrasound.

Honestly, what helped me the most to keep my sanity was being grateful that 1) I didn't have to tell anyone I wasn't pregnant after all and 2) I didn't have to go through the whole long drawn out process of D&C and waiting for another cycle to try again. Take some comfort in knowing that the vast majority of chemicals are flukes and when you get pregnant again the odds are in your favor for you to carry to term.

I had a chemical this past December. I got a faint, BFP on November 29 and my tests kept getting lighter and lighter and I started bleeding on December 3 so it took four days. I'm sorry you're going through this

No it's not hard for me to talk about. My chemical honestly was no different than a regular period. For some women they're like a bad period and you may pass some clots, but there shouldn't be any tissue or a sac or anything.

No I was 8 weeks with both. But if you got positives you can't be totally sure they were chemical, you may have mc really early? I really wish you the best!
