I emailed my GYN to find out if I need an appointment or if they can call in a prescription. I was going to start Monistat tonight to try and get some relief, but I googled if it's safe postpartum & apparently it's not recommended & diflucan is preferred during the postpartum period. I've never had a yeast infection so I don't know how I would react to the medication, since some stuff I read mentioned some people have pretty severe reactions to the stuff...I'm sensitive to quiet a bit of stuff so I don't want to risk it without doctor OKing it first, lol

I didn't think about the cream going up the vagina haha. Yeah maybe that's not good during the pp period. I'd do the diflucan. It's less messy anyway. The cream made me have cramps   I hated it. But it was all I could use during preg. They can't do diflucan during preg. My dr always calls in persctiptions for me. They're always so busy they prefer it I think. But since it's your first one they might wanna see you.

OMG, I hope not! Unless they just want to look at the outside, but I can't imagine them having to peek inside...just because I hadn't planned on or thought of anything even touching down there before 6 week check up.

Hi ladies! Sorry i haven't been on in a few days. Recovery has been painful but i'm managing. Khalilah is a great breast feeder, and such a calm baby. Couldn't have asked for a better daughter. I will post more pics when i can, just wanted to show off some of the ones i have of her. Hope everyone is well. Has anyone else delivered since i have on the 22nd? I feel like i have missed a lot.

She's beautiful!!! I love daddy's face in the group shot haha!!! It's like he's saying "yeah! That's right  " haha

Idk if anyone delivered. I know there's pretty much nobody left. I know there's some out in BG land but idk about our active group members.

I hope your recovery gets easier   I know how you feel. I looked like absolute shot after mine and I don't ever wanna put those pics anywhere for anyone to see

They called in a prescription of diflucan & I'm waiting to hear back from pedi.

ETA: They called in prescription for him too, Nyastin or whatever, pretty sure I'm spelling it wrong or can't remember the name right. It's the other prescription than diflucan. I was hoping they'd give something else after all i read saying it has sugar in it so it doesn't always get rid of thrush. I don't want to deal with this again!

I'm getting there. I still feel sore inside. My incision was doing good now it's starting to kind of burn   Idk if that's part of the healing process or not.

My incision burns to, all the time. Especially when i cough. I'm pretty sure it's normal.

I'm pretty sure I'm the last one left! Just left the Drs office and I'm now 3cm 50% effaced and buldging water... More progress then I've ever made but I only have 50 hours left till scheduled C-Section so I'm still praying or a miracle. She stripped my membranes..
