Scarlytt got weighed by the home visitor today and she's 8lb 1 oz!!! Hot dog!

I should have done this sooner...

We welcomed William Elias into our little family on February 11th at 1:27pm. He weighed 8 lbs and 9 oz and 21.5 in long. We were discharged from the hospital on the 13th. We had a follow up appointment with his pediatrician on Valentine's Day and he weighed 8 lbs even. Yesterday (one week later) he had another appointment and he now weighs 8 lbs 13 oz. Thank you, boobies! We've had a few struggles with breastfeeding but we're still trying. Here's a picture of my happy little guy smiling in his sleep!

She is catching up to my little chunker! He was 8 pounds 14.5 ounces today. He had lost nearly a pound after birth & while I was sick, but he's gaining back so doctors aren't worried.

Ivy was weighed 9lbs 12oz at her last weigh in. She's constantly eating. LOL!

Did you get the breast feeding issue figured out after DH snuck her that bottle?

Yes! She hates bottles now, lol!

That's crazy, seems everyone's LO is gaining so quickly compared to Mikey! He was 9 pounds 5 ounces at birth, then 8 pounds 13 ounces when we left hospital. He was down to 8 lbs 7.5 oz at last Friday's appointment (10 days old) which was after I had been really sick & even lost 10 lbs in 2 days, so they weren't too surprised & just wanted us in today to make sure it's going back up again & it is, so his next appointment is his 2 month check up.

It's probably due to sickness then. It may have slowed your milk some. Hell grow fast when he hits a growth spurt. Scarlytt was back to birth weight around 10 days. So it's not like she gained that much at that point.
