Is the shooting stabbing pain like inside? If so call your dr and have them just call you in some diflucan (fluconazole). You wanna clear it up before it passes to Mikey cause then you'll keep passing it back and forth. If he does get it use gentian violet and skip nystatin tereise you'll just keep struggling with it
It's been taking forever for my bladder infection to clear up too. It doesn't help that I always forget my nighttime dose but it still stings when I see like where my bladder is as it becomes empty. It's so weird.

When Scarlytt was in the nicu they wanted her eating no longer than every 3 hrs. They wanted 2-3 hrs. Just keep nursing as much as she'll take. Are you sandwiching your nipple to help get it in her mouth? Make sure she's opening wide too. If you need an extra pair of hands to open her mouth while you shove your nip in then find a nurse or someone to help. I had a LC helping me when Scarlytt was still learning. She said sometimes we just need two sets of hands haha

I dunno, it mostly stings at the nipple & sometimes radiates into more central or inner...not sure I'm describing it well enough. I think I'll go to doctor or call again Monday if they can get me in. It actually seems to be better today. I read some info on thrush & it said to stay away from refined sugars, things with yeast, etc. And I know candida also thrives when you have dairy in your diet, which I'm in process of cutting out because Mikey spits up more on days when I've had more dairy in my diet. So as a safety precaution since DD had such a terrible time with dairy & reflux I figured I'd try cutting it out early to hopefully avoid that whole mess or at least possibly lessen the severity of it if he also has reflux/colic like she did.
I keep having pain in my lower left stomach and while I was at the hospital and having trouble emptying my bladder & urinating, one of the nurses had mentioned bladder displacement might be the cause. So if I go to the doctor Monday then I'm going to bring that up too to see if there is a way for them to tell or find out. It just seems like after 4 days of the antibiotics that the UTI issues would have improved a little more by now & the only thing that seems to have gotten better is I'm not seeing obvious blood in urine anymore and my kidneys aren't hurting anymore, but that's it. Most of the time I don't get the urge to go and can't seem to completely empty bladder either, both of which probably led to the UTI issues to begin with

Yeah if it's going in the breast u NEED meds. It'll only get worse and fast. F it was all external I'd say use some gentian violet.
My kidney pain has went away too. I just hate the stinging in my bladder when I'm almost done peeing. I do wonder about te bladder displacement because I read sometimes when you get a csection it can mess up your bladder and you get an infection. With my vaginal birth I ended up with a prolapsed bladder. I still don't know if that's totally fixed. I'm gonna go to a physical therapist to work on it some more.

39 weeks today. Having my C-section on Wednesday so excited I cant sleep. I have two questions for ladies already had your babies. How long did you bleed for after having them. And When do they get their first shots? My husband says that the baby shouldn't leave the house for like a month because she won't have her shots yet.
