He's obsessed with the gym so everyone else should be too.  

Went to dr appointment about 2 hours ago & already got call with results. I've got a really bad UTI & I've been peeing blood even. It was hard to tell though because for awhile i wasn't sure if it was PP bleeding but then i realized i was only feeling leakage when i had urge to pee & even then it felt like pee trickling out, plus the blood was watered down looking if that makes sense. Also having symptoms of sinus infection so dr called in prescription for an antibiotic that should treat both & is supposedly safe for BF, although I'm about to look it up online to be sure. I know i got UTI from the swelling after delivery because i was barely able to pee while at hospital.

That new pump will be so helpful after using manual one! And I'm still not confident enough to BF in public either.

I did it a couple of times with JJ, but I was in the car. My boobs are way bigger this time. I may pick up a cover while I'm out today.

Breastfeeding mommies, whats your opinion on the antibiotic Augmentin? Doctor said it was safe for BF on phone, DH went to pick up prescription & I looked up info online. I'm finding mixed reviews saying its safe & some saying it's not, but everything saying it passes into breast milk   DH asked pharmacist & they said to pump before i take it (twice daily) & that its safe although it passes to breast milk, according to them it just increases risk of thrush. I don't want to deal with thrush & don't have experience with it from BF DD last time, so I'm sure it's the lesser of 2 evils considering I'm peeing blood & everything but i still want to do whats best for baby if there are alternatives.

They gave me cephalexin (sp?) for mine. At first they gave me macrobid but it wasn't compatible with preemies. Every med pretty much is passed into bm. But very little of what you consume gets in there. I wouldn't worry of the dr knew u were bfing. Thrush does suck. But know the signs so u can nip it early just in case. And don't let milksit in your breasts. Yeast grows When it's sitting too long.

Ok good to know. So basically nurse & pump like crazy to prevent the yeast from growing? And do i dump what i pump or is it still safe if refrigerate d or frozen?

After i looked up more info it basically all said it passes into milk, baby could get thrush or diarreah, & in extremely rare cases baby could have allergic reaction to the amoxicillin (spelling?) due to penicillin being in it...basically only if baby turns out to be allergic to penicillin. So I'm hoping he's not! I BF our daughter while taking it once for a sinus infection but she was about 15 months old...not 8 days old   so I'm nervous!

If u need to pump yes. But he shoul be nursing frequently enough to keep it moving. If he's not emptying your breast then id pump. It's a toss up whether or not to dump it. If you keep it I guess you *could* encounter thrush later if it was enough to cause it. I have a feeling it won't be enough to cause it from bm alone. More than likely you'd get the yeast infection and pass it to him and cause thrush. If you do keep it I'd mark it so you know which ones have antibiotic in them. That way of he had a reaction you knew what to toss. Or if he got thrush after having it you'd know it came from that and could Toss any remaining. More than likely it'll be fine. If you catch yeast early it's easy to treat. It's when it gets out of hand that people suffer. My first bout of it was horrible. I had no idea I had it. The second time I knew the symptoms and knocked it right on its ass

Omg I have the sqeakiest squakiest baby. All the does it make Random noises constantly. Even in her sleep.
