I am so worried about another csection that I don't think I ever want to be preg again. It would probably be diff if I had help and support and didn't hurt myself constantly. But I just never want to feel like this again Plus now if I have too much scar tissue I don't want a vertical cut so now I'm really scared of having another baby.

Saw your other post too, hopefully they don't send you home and I hope you make progress quickly since you weren't very progressed earlier.

It is definitely amniotic fluid. It just keeps gushing. I think I could have filled a lake by now. 3 hours with no contractions so the doctor wants to start pitocin.

Sorry! I didn't realize that contractions can take so long to start after the water breaks. What time is it where you are?

Awe well I hope they can get them going enough to progress you. Keep us updated. You know drs get on time frame once your water breaks. I would delay of just let them get those baby's going. Otherwise you might hit that 24 hrs and need a csection for a stupid reason

Yup. I know. Just saying I didn't know. Until I got pregnant I thought contractions started right away after your water breaks.
You learn a lot while being pregnant.

I don't have like statistics but *most* women's contractions do come on their own when their water breaks. But many are already having early labor when their water breaks. Sometimes if it breaks and you haven't already been having early labor your body might not kick right in.

It's baby time! I went in cause I thought my water broke but my blood pressure was through the roof. It came down but the protein level inn my urine is going up so they're starting me on pictosin. I'm already 3cm dilated and 50% effaced so at least I'm making progress on my own.
