I've accepted that all my by births will be by c/s so I'm okay with it. I tried for a vbac the second time around and it ended in an emergency section so I gave up then. This will be my fourth.. I would love to meet her as soon as possible but we're all set for the 20th, DH took his vacation from the 17th-2nd, we have a sitter lined up for the kids, people getting our mail and feeding our animals... so I'm okay with that part too lol

If you go into labor before the 22nd will you be allowed to try for a vbac?

Well, at least you've accepted it and seemed to be well prepared. I, on the other hand, have not  My doc doesn't even want labor to set in, she feels it could be disastrous. If i go into labor before that date, they will just perform the c-section then. I'm trying to come to terms with it, but it sucks! I just know the delivery experience and recovery is not ideal, but what can you do.

I completely get it. I had a hard time for a while but after having three sections already, even if my OB would allow me a chance at a natural birth, I'm not comfortable with it. When I dwell on it too much I get sad and wish that I had the opportunity to push out a baby and have them placed on my chest but I guess it just wasn't in the cards for me. After the surgery I have to wait about 1 1/2 hours to see the baby so that's usually when it hits me the hardest. This is my last baby so I'm trying to focus more on the good parts of the pregnancy and birth instead of how I wish it could have been.

I hope you have the best birth experience that you can, despite your situation.

Thank you and i hope you have a great experience as well. I have had vaginal births and c-sections, so obviously i prefer vaginal because of the bonding and easier recovery, but like you, i will just have to accept that this is the safest way for us at this point.

I think I might be pregnant well into March. This boy is way too comfortable. I'm 1cm and thick. No Braxton Hicks... just occasional pains in my cervix when he moves or stretches. I'm feeling like this pregnancy will never end. Lol.

Thank you! I really need to make a birth announcement thing, I keep forgetting. lol

Off subject. Jace has jaundice and we've been in the hospital since 7:30 this morning, hopefully going home in the morning. It really really sucks not being able to hold and snuggle him for long periods like at home.. here I can take him out to nurse, but that's basically it.

On the bright side though, my milk came in sometime in the middle of the night (I noticed around the time I posted the breastfeeding post lol) I can already see a HUGE difference. He actually gets full and satisfied (most of the time) and will pull himself off of the breast and go into straight milk coma/sleep. I love it! And he's actually spacing out his feeds instead of almost constantly, he eats about ever 1.5 hours-2 hours.

Just got here and they are testing for amniotic fluid. She keeps asking me if I'm sure it was my water and not pee. Pretty sure. My bed was soaked, I got up to pee, changed my sheets on the bed, laid back down on my left side and instantly had another huge gush that soaked my bed. My water broke with my daughter. This isn't my first rodeo. Lol.
