Don't let the pain fool you!! When I went into the hospital last Tuesday because my contractions were 3-5 mins apart, I sat there for about two hours and after a while they picked up but the pain started subsiding!! So by the time they discharged me, I was having contractions I couldn't feel but I knew were there cause they made the machine "plateau" as the nurse lady said.

After not seeing my doctor since 34 weeks, I'm curious as to see how today goes. I wonder if I'm dilated further.. Or if she'll attempt to strip me.. Ooooo so much excitement!! I thought last night my water had broke because my panties were soaked in liquid that smelled like maple syrup (<-- Weird and TMI I know) but I haven't had any more fluid leak so I guess I'll find out what's going on in about 4 hours!!!!

In waiting room for dr apt. Hoping for more progress.

So, still only 1cm and thick at today's appt. My cervix is still really high up and my doctor doesn't see him coming this week. My next appt is next Tuesday at 2:30, I'll be 40w3d. He said we'd talk about induction and all that then if he still isn't here, and he said he'd only let me go a week to ten days over.. So I guess we'll see what happens.

My doctor only allows a week over, so that's what we'll be discussing at my appointment tomorrow (@ 40 weeks) if nothing happens before appointment.

Ok. Only 1 more cm dilated so I am at a 2. Dr said a little more effaced than last week. I don't know what he did though but I am HURTING. Bad cramps in my back. Like I get with my period. And he said baby is very low. Said we will see what happens this week.

Being taken advantage of check
Being walked on check
being disrespected check
being abused check

Anything else you ladies would add? In still thinking.

I'm pissed right now cause for the last 2 days in a row I've been up half the night with the kids and he just walked in and took a nap with out saying anything to me. I'm smurfing exhausted and he doesn't bat an eye.

At least you made progress, that's good news!

It sounds like he is too wrapped up in his own wants and needs, to really focus on yours and the kids! Whatever you do, don't back down. He will always think he can smooth things over and treat you that way, if you don't stick to your guns. You sound like a strong woman who knows what she wants and deserves. You and your kids deserve better and if he can't provide that, you need to show him by action that you won't stand for it!

How about that his reoccurring binges negatively effect your sobriety?

Mt sobriety is fine, i don't even bat an eye lash at the thought, mention, sight of the drug. But his relapses are negative on our relationship and our family for sure. He thinks I'm cheating on him with his dope dealer when I've never even spoken to the guy. He gets so paranoid. He is dead positive that I'm having an affair.... I never leave the house, i run a24/7 in home day care and I'm 39 weeks pregnant....he works from home so his delusions aren't even feasible lol cause we are both always here ALWAYS
