So i guess Scarlytt has some mild gerd. She spit up a little and choked. She turned blue and I had to do back blows. Checked her still blue and not breathing, limp, did back blows again. She took a big yawn and then was breathing. She was kind of squeaky and breathing fast and shallow so we called the pedi and she said to call ems to transport her. We called ems and by the time they got there she got her color back and was breathing good. They listened to her lungs and they were clear. So I called back the pedi and she said it sounds like gerd and she's having milk come back up. So now I have to lay her on her right side after she eats at a 45 degree angle for an hour. If it doesn't help she needs to go in Monday for a follow up. Scariest smurfing day of my life

Congratulations to all the mamas that had their babies! I'm 37 weeks today. Baby is very comfortable and still hasn't "dropped". 0% effaced 0cm dilated. This is the longest I've gone (pregnancy wise).

I was really sick the weekend before. Then I was sick every morning up until the day I gave birth.

OMG how scary! I hope laying on her side helps and it gets better!

I woke up this morning feeling great. My swelling is all down, I haven't had pain meds in 3 days, and I feel normal again! I'm not bleeding anymore either. Only thing that sucks is the glue is still peeling and pulling, it's not so much pain, just annoying. I wish I could pick Piper up though!

I feel great. I have BH a few times a day but nothing consistent or regular. Just a few days ago I've been feeling uncomfortable pains in my cervix. I'm assuming that's from baby beginning to drop? Not sure but my OB said it's nothing to worry about.
Just finishing up the nursery and last minute cleaning today!

That's awesome!!! You're so lucky. How long do u have to wait to pick up piper?
Random question but is it supposed to be hard where the incision is? I'm assuming so but I wanted to check.
Ive been able to do some cleaning when I'm on my pain meds. But I have to be careful not to overdo it. I think overdoing everything is what is making me still have so much pain. 3 days of going back and forth to the nicu going on no sleep and the forth night getting up and down out of that stupid hospital bed to get her out of that crib thing was even harder.

it's most likely the scar tissue forming.
this time was much easier, than the first one.
