Good luck sweetie... I'm kinda hating my OB right now... My last appointment was the 11th... And I don't see her again until the 4th....

No lol. I just am hoping to be dilated at least a tiny bit.

The substitute doctor finally agreed to let me see a dentist! Even if it's only for antibiotics, I'm okay with that. My face is swollen and I can't even talk..the pain is so bad. My last labor wasn't even this painful.


ETA: she called and said she sent a prescription for tylenol 3 to a 24 hour pharmacy that's an hour away. My sweet DH went to pick it up. Three hours after taking it and still no relief.

Oh no! Honey I'm so sorry! I wish there was something more they could do for you to get some relief! I know you don't want to be induced, but it's nice to know that if it gets any worse and you feel having the baby a little sooner would help so that you could get in to the dentist for obviously necessary work, that your doctor would probably allow it, right? I mean, she seemed so induction happy, so I figure if she knew about this she would probably offer it again. I would think that depending on the severity of the problem, it might be viewed as a medical reason to induce in order for you to avoid any kind of infection depending on what's going on with the tooth? I really have no clue obviously, but it seems like it might be one option maybe.

The dentist opens at 8, so I'm going to call and see when I can get in. She said we can discuss options on Thursday at my 39 week appointment if the antibiotics don't work. I don't want to be induced, but I can't eat or sleep. I can only drink warm liquids at this point.

That must be so miserable. You have had such a rough pregnancy, I think you are amazing for not trying to quit weeks ago!

Thank you! It has been rough. I can't believe a toothache though! I haven't had one in years, and this one just pops up out of nowhere. It's worse than contractions. I'd rather have contractions any day, lol.

I'm tired of being pregnant, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. ...call me crazy, lol!

She's great! Sleeping and eating like a champ !

Travis spent most of the night sleeping with her on the couch   I got some much needed rest. She's already on a nearly 4 hour feeding schedule.
Piper was a really good baby, but willow is even better so far.
