I know! As bad as it sounds I got a little excited that Scarlytt would have a jan birthstone because it's red   but obviously that's not the only thing I should consider haha

I will probably have a red and a pink too   mines pink and sams is diamond.

google isn't bad, you just have to know which sources are worth it.

That's true... But I really don't know what sources are right. So my theory is if I can't distinguish credible sources then I really don't look. I'm more of a read it out of a medical book or ask a medical professional.

I try to stick with sites like webmd, babycenter, livestrong, and stuff that's well known. I stay away from random articles as they can be biased. Then I'll look at a couple diff ones to see if they say the same things.

I'm a bit of an anti establishment type, so I don't take the doctors word as gospel. Our pedi and I butt heads about vaccines, he's industry driven.

I dunno.. It's all confusing and since this is my first I have all this stuff thrown at me. What's wrong with vaccines?

I don't support some vaccines and won't give them to my children.

I hardly ever listen to pedis or even ask questions haha. I do my own thing based on my judgement and research. They can give general advice but they don't have your own instinct. I have had my ob tell me that many times. When I have caled they will say "well while that is normal, use your instinct if u feel you need to come in".

I personally dont do chicken pox or flu cause I feel they're unnecessary. Or any new ones that they suggest. But I am not saying they're wrong. Just that I personally feel like I don't want them in my children.

Really hope you're able to get some more kids to watch! And everything you need in time for baby. If we lived near each other I'd give you our swing we had for DD, she hated it and we just aren't into swings so it's still in storage since we don't plan on using it.
