Woke up from a nap & I'm having contractions about 3-4 min apart, lasting nearly 2 min each. I have a high pain tolerance and they don't feel horrible, but certainly stronger than BH. Last pregnancy I had back labor since DD was sunny side up once she flipped during labor from transverse breech to head down position, so I'm not sure if contractions this time will be even anywhere near comparable or not? Hope that makes sense! I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and at my appointment last week the doctor informed me that at their clinic & the hospital I'm delivering at (which is same set of doctors I'd be seeing there at hospital as well) doesn't stop labor once you reach 34 weeks, they just let baby come. So with that being said, should I try to labor at home for awhile because I wanted to stay home during labor as long as possible, or should I go in to L&D in an hour or 2 if contractions don't stop?

I'd go in an hour or two. I hope everything goes well, and good luck mama.

Thanks! I was really hoping to go past my due date too! But I don't know what else to do if they won't stop labor, ya know? I'm starting to get some back pain with them now...here soon I'm gonna go shower & get ready to go to L&D just in case.

So I'm gonna try to push back Scarlytts birth to te 28th because I found out if she's 36 weeks she is not required to go to the nicu unless she needs to. But at 35 weeks she HAS to go regardless. I hope nothing happens before then.

It sucks that they won't stop it. My doctor doesn't after 35. I've been having light contractions and back pain but it usually goes away. Have you called l&d?

That's why I'm hoping to make it to 36. Hopefully she'll be a good little baby and hang out until then.
