how do i know

ok i had my period august 15th. and it stopped on the 17th. i had a very small spotting on the 21st. SO and i had been having sex a lot during this whole time.. well i had surgery on my knee yesterday and it all went fine.. about a hour ago i was in the hallway talking to SO when all of a sudden i felt something gush down my leg. sure enough it was blood. (not from the surgery)
i have no idea what this is but SO is worried it could have been a miscarriage since my period stopped early and i had a small spotting that could have been implantion.

please tell me its my body being weird and not a miscarriage. idk what to do

I'm sure it's your period. And if it was a miscarriage, there isn't anything you can do, so don't worry about that. KWIM?

no i dont know what you mean cause if it was a miscarriage it is something i would worry about because miscarriages run in my family and id want to know so i can be more careful or know if it was cause the surgery or something.

well, then call your dr and have an HCG blood test done to see if there is any in your system. Women on the internet can't tell you if you had a mc or not, and I guess I personally wouldn't want to know if it was a miscarriage because there isn't anything you can do about it now, and most places and drs will not concern themselves with a MC problem until several have happened.

Have you taken a test??? Sounds like a lot of blood...I would call your dr to get checked out either way.

this happened to me. I took a test and it showed I was pregnant but it was already gone.

Best thing to do is get it checked out if you want a record of your miscarriage.

I know I did because I'm RH- and if I miscarry past 10 weeks I have to have the rhogamm shot.
