Baby measuring 4 lbs 14oz and is breech >_<
Her butt is down but her feet and hands are up by her face. I start weekly nsts/bpps next week. Hoping she'll turn but not holding on to that with my luck.
I don't want to do that dr inversion thing were they try to force her head down. I don't care for the risks. Bahhh I just want her here safe ad sound.

Wow that sounds so scary! I hope they figure it out soon. Are you feeling OK, though? Is it too early to know what the bleeding could be from? Or do you jut have to wait until after the ultrasound? Wishing you all the best and please keep us posted.

Sounds like a not-so-great day all around.
I had my 29w appt today. BP was 130/60. Sugar in my urine was at 4+. While I passed my GD test, it was by the skin of my teeth and with today's sugary urine my OB wasn't happy. So I'm basically on the GD diet which is going to be hard, especially working FT. I gained 4kg in a month too which basically doubles what I had gained thus far. But HB was good on the baby and no protein in my urine so those are good things. And I was measuring 28w so a bit behind but that's OK.
Need to monitor my BP (either find the BP cuff we have or go in weekly on my own time, no appt necessary), eat better, exercise more (praying the weather starts getting nicer!) and stress less.
Feeling a bit depressed now. Had a salad, cheese stick, and water for dinner. Sounds like some variation of that (along with some chicken, fish, and nuts) will be my diet for the next 2 months or so. <sigh>

I hope everything goes well. What's the inversion thing?

The is ladies!! I feel ok now just crampy and stuff from all the exams yesterday. M ultrasound is tomorrow at 1:30 and I'm bummed that DH can't make it but he can see the pictures after I suppose. They have no idea where the bleeding was coming from right now. Hopefully we'll find that out tomorrow but I don't know. I'm really kind of hoping it was just a freak thing and they won't find anything wrong and it won't happen again. I have never had any kind of complication, concern, or issue with my othe pregnancies so this is new and kind of scary to me.
But thanks for all the support ladies!

Geez, no kidding!! These babies are in cahoots or something! But seriously though, I hope everything goes Ok. Happy you don't have BP issues or protein issues so far. Hope it stays that way. Sounds like you guys have been busy with a lot of projects-- maybe rest easy a bit more! Good luck and keep us posted!

Quinn is breech as well, they said they won't be concerned until 36 weeks and that it's normal for them to be breech at 31 weeks still.

It's called external cephalic inversion. Basically they force the baby head down by manipulating and pushing them on the outside at the hospital under watch of ultrasound and heart monitors. Can cause cord problems, placental abruption... Just really scary stuff to me. Having had a stillbirth, I'd rather have a csection and not have to worry about having to get whisked away for an emergency csection.

You could try the high-powered flashlight to the belly trick. It works my old doc did it a few times when I was almost due with Smidget. It worked for my friend who saw him.

Do you do it where you want them to turn or move away from?

If you know where baby's head is, sit for half hour in a dark room and each day place the light a little lower on your belly along one side (the side their head is more toward when you start) than the day before. Baby will follow the light!

Please do let us know when you get the results.
I don't blame you for wanting that in writing. If you need 12 weeks off you should get it, and not be burned. Even though you haven't worked there long.
Are you having a boy?

Wow ladies. Sounds like a few of us are having a rough time lately. Keeping all of you in my thoughts.
Melissa try not to worry too much. There is still a lot of time for baby to turn. and When I was first told I needed a c-section with DD I was terrified, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. So if you do end up needing one you and baby will be ok.
Though I did pass my GD test, I've been having a lot more BH contractions than I was before. Had an argument with a family member and am also studying for my first exam in General Psychology on Tuesday so that might be why.
The BH worry me. but I went to L&D because I had bloody discharge and a lot of BH and I was fine. CL was 4 CM and the contractions had slowed down so I felt like I wasted everyone's time. I would not like to go through that again so I'm just seeing how things go for now. Seeing my OB on Monday for a check up.

Finally going home! Pre-eclampsia seems to be at mild status for now so I will head home on bed rest. Not at all ideal considering I can't work, but so happy I don't have to deliver right now
