Hello ladies. I'm 26 weeks today w mono/di girl twins. They will take them at 35 weeks and one day on May 3rd. Hows everyone feeling? I start bed rest really soon... Not looking forward to it. :-P

Can you believe it's only about 8 weeks left to go?! How are you feeling? My legs/feet/ankles are super swollen this past week. Not sure how to reduce the swelling! I've tried to eliminate as much sodium as possible, been drinking water like crazy, and trying to elevate my legs. Not working out too well so far!

Compression stockings! Also, don't drink TOO much water or you'll swell because of the fluids (pretty sure that's why I was so swollen yesterday)

I just tried walking to the store with my fiance, and couldn't because of the unbarible need to pee, and pressure. Now I'm having painless contractions. Ug.
and I'm sooo sleepy. Long day at school today.

I'm good. Ninja's being pretty mellow this evening. I'm about to get ready for bed though, I've got to work tomorrow and SO don't want to. Ah well, I know that my 4 day workweeks are coming thanks to Congress (I work for the govt) so I should try to get as much done now as I can...

For sure get as much sleep as you can then.
I wake every morning like clock work with gas pains. It's like a painful alarm.
Sometimes I wish it were May already lol.

AAARRRGGGHHH! Sometimes I just want to smack my DH.

I friggin' HATE money. There's never enough of it and I work my ass off daily for a paycheck that I get to use MAYBE $20 of it for "fun" stuff for me. There's still smurf we need for the baby (either a mattress for him OR a mattress, box spring, and frame for DD being the absolute MUST). While I know it's best that we got the Jeep paid off, I REALLY wish we'd been able to save something from our tax return. I'm not going to be able to AFFORD to take any time off work other than MAYBE 3 weeks (that's about how much leave I'll have; can't get leave advanced). Plus with losing 4 days of work/month (thanks sequestration!) I'll earn less money AND less leave. I can't trust DH with 3 kids all summer, I just CAN'T. Hell, I can barely trust him to stay awake for 3 hours when my DD is home and he refuses to watch both kids unless it's an early release day and he has no option. He won't let DS take the bus home and won't pick him up (DS goes to the after school program at school). DH is forcing DS to go to the Boys and Girls Club this summer even tho neither of us have looked into it much.

I'm getting to that point which makes me have to rest more because I don't want the pressure on my cervix making it shorten. Don't need my stitch tearing through. I was having painless contractions the other day because I let myself get dehydrated.
