Talk to your doctor. If he's not worried about it, I'm sure you're fine, but you might try being a little more careful with your choices (eliminate drinks other than water, cut back on carbs a ltitle, perhaps. Nothing major, just small changes) to slow it down. Some people just gain more than others for whatever reason (thyroid issues during pregnancy, genetics, etc).

My mom gained NOTHING with her pregnancies and I've never gained more than 5lbs total in a pregnancy (first was 40w, he weight 10lbs. second was 23 weeks, he weighed 1.5lbs, this time I'm 21 weeks, and still only at 5lb gain)

That being said, if its a gradual gain (as opposed to you suddenly put on a lot of weight in a couple of weeks), its not really concerning so long as your doc doesn't care (he'll know if you're at risk for something better than I do).

Just know that the more you gain now, the more you have to lose later, so make changes if you can, but don't stress about it!

I am so glad everything is looking good so far, crossing my all it stays that way!!

We're doing good here, can't wait to really feel this little guy. It's just been little pokes here and there with some rolling and hiccups.

I've never had a baby get hiccups in there. So weird. I keep wiating on it and it has never happened! Sad!

This girl pokes and prods and jabs constantly. She's NUTS. Daddy felt her at 14 weeks and she kicked the doc enough to make him jump at 15 weeks---so she's one tough cookie.

I just wish DH would agree on the name (he likes it, but isn't ready to say "THATS her name"---but vetoes everything else suggested. And DS is already calling his sister by name and I keep telling DH that if he isn't satisfied with the name to correct our son when he calls her that, but he doesn't. So she's named, but its not official and its driving me nuts because I feel like I can't call her that, but DS is getting attached to the name already because DH is being weird.

Hopefully she will let you feel some!! Steven had them so much, especially at the end. It's a constant thumping in there and when they get bigger it moves your belly (at least with Steven it did).

Awe she is a tough one!!

We have no name for this guy either! If he were a girl we would. Hubby vetoes every suggestion but a few, but I don't get any answer with them but an, I will think about it. Sounds like if he hasn't come to terms with a name by the time she's here then you will just have to use the name your son keeps calling her

This was one of the many times Steven had hiccups. I think I was around 30 or so weeks here.

If he doesn't start correcting him soon (its been a MONTH), I'm just going to tell him "stuff it!" if he complains later.

For now, she's Ainsley Carmen. I would like Ainsley Renee better, but DS says its "Ainsley Carmen. That's my sister's name. Not renee! CARMEN"

We were still debating the middle name when DH stopped talking about it and just was like "I don't feel like it" every time I brought it up. So, DS thinks his vote wins and tells everyone his sister's name any chance he gets.

Cute! But NONE of mine have had hiccups in there that I've ever been able to feel. And I've always been able to feel them early and pick out their positions, etc.

Hopefully she will have a few for you! I just hope this guy doesn't have as many as Steven did. At the end it was at least once or more a day (some days he gave me a break) and he was very low so it was right down there, lol.

The girl i had, she was on her last day to graduate.... a intern i guess, but they did have to bring in someone else to finish all the measurements, but they were pretty positive that it was the ovaries they seen   I think they let you know if they are not sure if it is.... but since this is my first i could be completely wrong, and hope i am having a girl lol

We just decided on Ninja's name this afternoon. I'm relieved that we came to an agreement. Well, it was more of me saying "his name will be THIS" than any big discussions
