Have you talked to your dr about needing some resources? They an usually refer you to programs that help with baby stuff and all kinds of other support.

Also, there are a good number of things you don't need. Like a changing table, it's a waste of space and money if you don't Hav the extra money for it. Just get a changing pad and keep it under your bed and pull it out when you need it. Just something to think about.

I should really be more observant... It clearly says you're having a girl. Lol. How exciting that they could already determine gender that early on  My DH was convinced we were having a girl again, but was pleasantly surprised when it was a boy. But he says he'd be happy either way. DD loves football, wrestling, and all things her dad is into... But she also loves dresses and ballerinas, lol.

There is so much that I got with my daughter that was unnecessary and I didn't need. Can you maybe get a few of the essentials in the beginning and save the rest of the money until he/she gets here and you see what you really need?

I'm really hoping, because I haven't found any suitable cribs with changer attached at a decent price, and I have to get a brand new car seat, I'm really strict on that because even if a little crack in plastic on car seats can be potentially not good. I just hope, and I have no one who has hand me downs for clothing, but I'm thinking it's just the other things I need are what is going to be a lot. We'll see. On the other hand, I have always dealt with this from him. I love him very much, but he's not very sensitive when it comes to us talking about what needs to be done. I do wish a lot he would grow up because if he can't even talk about finances like an adult, I'm afraid on how he's going to realize how much harder things will be with a newborn. I have quite some time still, but I would like to have plans so I'm not just guessing.

No I haven't, but I never really knew they had all that kind of info. This is my first pregnancy, and doing things a lot on my own, I don't know there is all that out there that my doctor would know. but thank you, I'm def going to get in toch with my doctor about it. Thanks again

I plan on doing a lot of that, it's just the clothing, diapers and bathing items I'm wanting to stock up on. Reason being is because when my husband knows there is money, he loves to just think it's okay to spend. It's going to be hard enough trying to save it and hide it without him knowing where it's at.

It will work out mama try not to stress! You know a lot of the stuff we blew money on for my first we didn't end up using that much. He slept in our bed, I changed his diapers on the couch or floor, so there's a ton of money we could have saved. I'm sure it will all work out!

I agree he should talk to you about it. Try to think of it from his position though, he is probably stressed being the only income. I know my husband is at times
