Praying everything will be fine! I HATE HATE HATE that you can't just "enjoy" pregnancy without worry. I'm having no spotting or cramping.. but still fear something will go wrong.  

I openly admitted to DH, that right now I'm not excited about the pregnancy, once we get to the 2nd trimester, I will be.

Ugh my intestines aren't liking me today .

I was in the shower earlier and I started feeling weird and had to sit down. Hard to explain...like suddenly nausea and just felt off

SO would be happy to hear that lol. With my daughter, I was pretty much single from 4 months on. I found out her dad had a drug problem around that time and things got all bad. But up until then, we had sex maybe once a month. I hated sex up until the last year or so though, so I couldn't have cared less.
Believe it or not, SO is only the 2nd person to ever give me an orgasm lol. My daughter's dad, I was with him for 7 years and he never did even once. I guess that explains why I couldn't care less about it.

I know that many of us are starting to tell people or have already told people. What has their reactions been? Have any of you had people react negatively? Most of my family have reacted positively....but my mom is mad bc I'm pregnant. And my brother sent me a msg on fb tripping out on me for being pregnant. I ended up having to block him to keep my temper down. I got so mad at him last night that I was shaking. And I know that isn't good for me or the baby so I blocked him and his gf.

That sucks!   My family is very supportive and happy for us. My mom knows how much trouble ttc we have so she just gets excited!

Why would they be upset?

My family was excited for us, just a little concerned that I graduate with my bs in history education in the beginning of may and I am due the end of may. However, I am the atypical student as I am older, started my degree after I separated for. The Air Force. I totally understood their concerns, but it is not the same as being a "normal student." My husband and I were ttc, so he was excited and our daughter and my ss are both excited

It seamed to be a relief when I told my family and his grandparents, mom and sister because I was actually going to the dr because my prolactin gland was slowly going up which could possibly lead to a patuatary tumor if it's out of your normal range. So at the second visit with the obgyn she told me I was pregnant we were all very shocked even the dr and nurse. I'm sorry people are being butts...Try to block it out they will eventually get over it.

Altogether, we have 4 kids right now. My hubby had 2 kids before we got together, I had 1, and then we had 1 together. The baby turns 1 this weekend. But I think my mom's main problem is that being a grandma makes her feel old. So when I get pregnant, it's a reminder that she's a grandma. As bad as it sounds, in a lot of ways I am more mature than she is. She goes on trips without her husband (my stepdad) on a regular basis. (I think they have pretty much split up over it). She goes out drinking almost every friday and saturday. I do none of that...I am almost always with my kids or my hubby. It's like she's trying to be young and can't accept that she will be 50 in April....she still wants to act like she's in her 20s/30s. As for my brother, he's just listening to whatever crap my mom is saying to him. We see him 2x a year (Thanksgiving and Christmas). He barely knows my kids names.
I kinda thought my mom would be mad...guess I'll just have to give her time to get over it.

I've only told 2my really good friends and dh, of course, one of my friends is due less than 2 weeks after me...and she wanted to borrow my maternity clothes, but I can't lend them out, cuz I will need them....

My mil and fil are going to be ecstatic when we tell them, they've been begging us for over a year to have more...

My parents will probably be happy too, so it is what it is.

Also ivthonk the only person who will be mad will be my boss because I got a promotion about 2 weeks before I found out.

I haven't told my family yet. The only one IRL that knows is my MIL. She is very excited   I think when I do tell my family that they will be concerned because of my health. I have Crohn's, Mitral Valve Prolapse and chronic migraines. I am in 'good' health right now though. All in all, they will be happy after the news sinks in.

My Mom is excited.. but nervous.. she was the the same way with Diva as well, but I think she's more worried because of the recent m/c's. My Dad who knows... he's a man of little emotion, but he loves his grandbabies.. I think his whole thing is his baby girl is no longer his baby per say.

Well that's crap, I'm sorry! I have a step child too, and although I love him, and treat him as my bio child, he does not count as my own kid! So, technically I only have one kid, with one on the way.  . You want more kids, have more kids! Until you start acting like those Duggers, everyone can keep their mouths shut, lol ;)
