I have an appt in 2a weeks, and I want to ask for another ultrasound, since I didn't get any pictures, or told anything at my first one. Dovyou think the doctors office would give me another ultrasound, should I call ahead and ask them before my appointment? Or should I just wait and see if they will give me one that day?

im hoping all is normal.. but i think once this ultrasound is good and everythign is normal hopefully then i can start getting attached instead of pretending to be attached.. kwim?

my friend who is 23 weeks finally had to get an elective ultrasound she paid for because her dr hasnt done one and does only one at 25 weeks.

I'd call 1st. They may have you pay one since in you're insurance you're allowed x amount unless they feel you need more.

That's sucky. They really are not needed. They are just nice to get. I won't get another one till dec 3 for 20--22 weeks to check development. And since I'm now being seen by cob once I reach 28 weeks ill get one every 4 weeks =\. Pita

i think with little foot i had one at 5 weeks to check if i was pregnant for sure then one at 24 weeks
i used to hear my friends tell me they would make things up and tell the dr or go to the er to see thier baby.. im getting one tommorrow to make sure its not ectopic and to see why im in pain.. then im going to a clinic that gives one for free (its a pregnancy center) then ill pay for one at 15-16 weeks to find out early what im having and if theres no complications prob just one more in early jan late dec to see about devolpment...
my biggest petpeeve is people who call that one the anotomy one.. when its really to see how the baby is devolping and if anythign is abnormal.. i had a friend who flipped because they were 100% sure what she was having but told her the baby looked healthy...
grr

Quoting Mel & a girl named Pey:" Are you actually cramping and have you been doing a lot throughout the day? Make sure you are drinking lots of water!"
I don't really know how to explain it. It almost feels like sharp gas pains. But it's only on one side for the most part. I have been feeling my whole uterus tightening too but that's just here and there and not painful. I do need to drink more water
