OP, how far is the move? What countries? Is it close enough that you could leave your kid but still do your regular visitation/be there in an emergency?

I have yo agree with the other ladies...regardless of how often you see her she is still yours and you do see her still. I guess if you don't have a bond with her go but I couldn't personally do it regardless of how little I saw my kiddo. Everyone is different though.

I still think he needs to move where you live though... regardless if she lives with you or not, that's your baby!

Could be though, your daughter won't think much of it. I imagine some kids would find it exciting that a parent lives in a different country and they get to fly to see them.
