My 33 weekers didn't have colic, but they had reflux and would be quite fussy. Have you tried gas drops?

My daughter was not a preemie but she had colic for about 4 months. When I first brought her home she was fine, then one night about two or three weeks after she was born she started crying and was just fussy from that point on until she was about 6 months. During her Colic stage she always seemed uncomfortable for no obvious reason (dirty diaper or hungry). Colic is really just gas, I used a thing called Gripe Water with my daughter and it worked magic!! My daughter also had reflux issues as well. I could NEVER lay her flat because anything in her stomach would come back up and I would imagine burn her esophagus. Gripe Water is all natural and really helped, try that.

Thats proly why he is fussy. I know with my daughter I could never lay her flat or put her in her swing. The swing would just swing her back and fourth (obviously lol) and aggravate her reflux. Try to keep him propped upright that way it will keep his food down.

....and even after my daughter got over her colic stage she was still high maintenance, she just was not an easy going baby. She was fussy by nature I think lol. I always had her propped upright and continued a gripe water regimen in all of her bottles till she was almost off the bottle. I just cut the dose in half since she was getting it so often.

My 35 weeker has colic and reflux. His pedi seemed to think a lot of his problems were caused by overstimulation. As soon as we started being mindful of that he stopped crying all night. We also give him Colic Calm which really helps.

Jade my 36 weeker had colic, she pretty much had inconsolable crying to almost screaming, she was always clean, didn't want to eat, just crying, eventually they grow out of it but sucks because everything that we have learned to soothe baby dont do much for colicy baby I gave Jade some gripe water when she started with the screaming... Maybe try the gripe water see if it helps??
