PP Hair Loss

posted 18th May
I am currently 17 weeks or 4 months PP. For the past 2 weeks I have noticed that I am loosing tons of hair. Now I don't have bald spots or anything but, I find strands of my hair everywhere. It is gross. I read lots of articles about this online and it is apparently due to hormone changes and usually starts anywhere between 6-16 weeks pp. So my question is has anyone else experience this yet another wonderful thing that happens to your body before or after baby?

I haven't experienced this yet but I have heard about it. Your body holds onto all of your hair during pregnancy due to hormones and you lose them after you give birth. Your hair shouldn't be any thinner than it was during your pregnancy

I lost hair too (strands). My hair has always been thick so it's sad to see so much hair falling out. My hair started falling out after. Do you know if you can do anything about it?

You're losing the hair you should've lost through out your pregnancy. That was the first bit of info my boss had given me right before I gave birth. She swore she thought she was going bald but her doctor told her what it really was.

I lost tons of hair, and now I just have a big frizz ball. I used Bracato Cloud 9 Repairing shampoo and conditiner and it helped. It stopped falling out at 6 months PP

My hair used to come out in clumps and I would have to clean my brush out daily. It has since leveled off thought I'm not noticing very much hair loss as six months PP. It gets better!

I've been told not to shave or anything that it will fall out on its own. If its still there in a few months I will be waxing it off
