Fetal Doppler

So I went to my midwife last week for my first appointment and she said she thought I was further along than the 9 weeks I was at the time. She ordered an ultrasound for this Thursday to determine exactly how far along I am. We were able to find the heartbeat at the appointment....much to my relief   My friend gave me her Fetal Doppler to try today. I didn't expect to catch anything, but I very clearly found our baby's heartbeat! It took a little bit, but it was no doubt our little one. My question is....aren't you only supposed to be able to find heartbeats with those around week 15? How erly have some of you detected a beat with one?

Some can hear them at 9/10 weeks...but most around 11 or 12.

It just depends on the doppler, I have the sonoline B and picked up the HB at 9 wks.

I could find my daughters HB with a home doppler at only 9 weeks and with this pregnancy at 11 weeks so it can be found pretty early.

They didn't find mine with the doppler until 14 weeks & 5 days so almost 15 weeks.
