What is the time Frame on an abortion?

Whats the limit on abortion? I live in Michigan.

12 weeks, I believe

I heard it was 8weeks for the abortion pill..and I think 12weeks. maybe sooner.

For the pill: 9 weeks
In-clinic - 12 weeks (but I got mine done at 13.5 weeks)

not sure about ur state but i know some will allow it up until the 3rd trimester
i remember reading the laws when my friend was 16wks and wanted one and she had no problem but i know at a certain point it can be a problem

IMO if ur making that decision, do it as soon as possible, the longer u wait the harder it will be....

OP, I think MI just passed a bunch of new anti-abortion laws. I would look into those.

The abortion pill RU486 is only FDA-approved for a woman who is up to 7 weeks pregnant (which equals 5 weeks since conception) or up to 49 days after one's last menstrual period. Although some healthcare providers will still use this method for women over 7 weeks pregnant, use at this time it considered off label (meaning, no longer FDA approved) as RU486 is not FDA-approved if it has been more than 49 days since your last menstrual period.

You can have a legal surgical abortion up to 24 weeks although most doctors offices and clinics stop doing them after 13 weeks.
