Baby #4....another girl!?!?!

Does anyone know anything about your likelihood of conceiving a boy after having sooooo many girls. I have 3 girls now and just found out that #4 is another girl. My mom's friend read somewhere that after having two girls your chances of conceiving a boyare smaller and smaller. I desperately want a son, but that is a whole other issue, but don't know if it is possible for me to conceive one. Could there be something that is keeping me and hubby from conceiving a son???

Theres nothing stopping you its just the luck of the draw.

My dad and stepmom had 3 girls and 1 boy and my mom and stepdad had 3 girls and 1 boy also. Its possible!

Your chances are always 50/50, no matter what. It's his sperm that decides, and all of them either have the other x chromosome, or a y. And they don't care much what sex your previous children are.

I'm not too sure. My mom's funny...she thinks the sexual position you concieve in can influence the sex of the baby. For example, missionary would more likely be for a girl, and doggie style more likely for a boy. Don't know how true that is, but hey it worked for me. haha. So needless to say next time, I really want a girl, so I'll be trying different positions just for the hell of it.

no no no! but i'm pretty sure of the date my son was concieved and i know what position we were doing it in that day. lol. so i just meant next time when we're trying to concieve i'll make more of a point to do something different just b/c i wanna try to see if it actually has anything to do w/ the baby's sex. we do use other positions too! lol.

There's a study that shows that when conceiving, girl spem live longer, but boy sperm are faster swimmers and more aggressive. So that means that if you want a boy, have sex often when you're ovulating and you should get one. Missionary is the best position because it deposits sperm closest to your cervix, just fyi.

you know its the sperm that determines the sex of the baby not what you do or who has had what but its morely the luck of the draw. Because with that sperm some have the dna for a baby girl & some have the dna for a baby boy it just matters which one gets to the egg first but atleast your able to have kids theres some people out there who aren't that lucky.

I told him if it was a girl this time he would be in big trouble so when we found out it was a girl my middle daughter (age 5) daid,"UH-oh, Daddy is in trouble!!"

I meant that too! Like, in just one "sitting" of sex, you never change positions? I'd never be able to figure out the sex that way, since we're always changing it up. Hope I don't have a hermaphrodite!!!

I think i will havet he same problem just with Boys..lol.. my dad had 6 girls before he got his boy .

Too true. That is why I feel so guilty that I cried when I found out it was a girl. I mean pretty selfish of me. The sonographer told me she thought I was pretty human though to want a boy after already having 3 girls.
