Sooo I joined a online dating site...

...and surprisingly there are way less creepers than I thought. The guys that are messaging are actually really nice (so far), and seem serious about trying to date and not just hook up. I was wary of this online thing, but maybe Ill be a success story?

Anyone have success at online dating?

Not personally but I worked for Match.com for 2 years and while the majority of them are Smurfian scammers there were a lot of success stories. Just be really careful of people asking you for money

My BIL met his wife on eharmony. My cousin met her husband online. They are all still together. My BIL just got married last year and they just had a baby a few months ago.

I found my husband online. It was a picture sharing site, not a dating site, though.

Not success, but not a bad experience either. I met a super nice guy when I did online dating. We didn't work out, but we are still friends to this day.

I personally have not ever joined one of those. But one of my really good friends met her husband on one! They are perfect for each other and without that site they never in a million years would have ran into each other. Good Luck

im not crazy lol. Even bill collectors have a hard time getting money out of my gripping hands!

hahaha good! They def dont go straight for the kill. They develope a relationship first; then all of a sudden their uncle's brother's baby mama was in a tragic skiing accident and their stuck in Smurfia and please wire them $500. I remember crying on the phone with my customers hearing how much money they got taken for. It's so sad.

I my an ex on one - we dated for 3 years. My fiance met our wife through online gaming and were married for almost 10 years.

I met my dh on meetme, it's a little more of a hook up type site but there are some legit good guys on there. I met a few and they all wanted a serious relationship but I didn't want that at the moment. BUT DH made me settle down ;).

its funny. but were happily married with a house and 2 babies. we couldnt be happier. was the best choice I ever made
