Menses while Bfing

Hi ladies I'm rather nervous about menses not coming when my youngest is 8mo now.. For my first two my menses came when they are around 4mos the maximum.. I'm kind of scared cause idk if I will be pregnant anytime but I have checked for pregnancy and it's negative.

I have also been suffering from unexplainable cramps so bad that I can have goose bumps. Sometimes after I let go gas I feel ok but most of the time doesn't seem like gas.

Is there anyway to fasten the menses if it's menses cramp?

I didn't get my period until I was 16 months PP. Before then, I was super paranoid about being pregnant. I took a pregnancy test each month  

You can't really make your period come. Like you said, its probably just gas.

Haha. I'm kind of jealous. Because I'm still ebf (for 5 months) and my periods came back at about 10 weeks... I am an every 28 day kind of girl since they started and they are so irregular now it makes me think I'm pregnant every month. lol.

I've been exclusively bfing my daughter who is 7 months old now. Last month my period came and it was awful! I kind of could tell that it would happen because she stopped all night feedings and had cut back her feedings during the day, and I had experienced the cramping you describe for several weeks. This is tmi, but I suddenly wasn't, *ahem*, bone dry down there anymore during the weeks preceding AF. Now it's time for my period again (if it happens on schedule) and I'm feeling all crampy and bitchy. Fabulous.  

I guess my point is, in my experience the cramping was a precursor to the real deal. If your LO has cut back on feedings recently, it could happen at any time.

I used to be jealous cause around 2-4mos post partum my periods came back and I was fully breastfeeding @.@

Yes! Yesterday I got dry below after a while.. So find it weird and the crazy cramps is killing me. But the strange thing is I didn't cut back on feedings!!
