Yes, he sounds jealous and like he's trying to play it off by talking badly about how she looks.

I honestly think you are over-thinking things. But even if he was, I don't think it would be a huge deal. Honestly, who asks someone to do those things to approve their appearance? I wouldn't have done it either because it would have made me feel like I wasn't good enough being myself.

Absolutely he is! That's exactly what it sounds like. He's a little hurt that she's doing the stuff that he asked her to do. I mean I don't think it's like "Zomg I wanna get back with her now" but yeah I'm sure his feelings are hurt.

Thanks, I thought it might be. My ex was that way a little after we broke up. He was hurt that I did something that he wanted me to do, but I was unwilling at the time to do.

When she's in t-shirts and sweats 7 days a week, I can understand why just the little things make an improvement. And sometimes men are attracted to women who try just a little to not look like a slob.

Yeah understandable. I imagine thought that she didn't because maybe her hurt her feelings. Who knows. I willing dress up every now and then..makes me feel normal LOL. But do you think he would answer you honestly if you asked him?

I do think he would. He's not afraid to tell me when another woman feels attractive. And he's okay when I tell him I find another guy attractive. I could talk to him about it over lunch.

And it may be possible he hurt her feelings. I didn't know them both very well while they were together, so I don't know what went down.

Yeah I think that would be a good idea..especially if you two are open with each other.
