Wish had advice. I work with a Peds diagnostic clinic that sees mostly failure to thrive kiddos and that's pretty much all the advice we have for parents.   is she losing weight or just staying small? Could be genetic small stature....

She's not losing weight, and she's not gaining weight. She's been 18 lbs for 2 months now.

how big is she?
my son just turned 19 months and is 35 inches tall and 25 lbs.
he doesnt hardly eat but a couple bites at each meal.but when hes hungry and wants food i give it to him, just so he can eat.
its normal for toddlers to be "grazers"

My son was the same way. He really didn't get into eating solids on a regular, 3 meals a day basis until he was almost 2 years old. I just kept trying. I would offer him a lot of different foods. One thing he did like was drinking smoothies so I loaded them bad boys up. I would make him a banana and oatmeal smoothie with a tbsp of olive oil. He would drink different kinds, but that one was his favorite. Sometimes I would put in pediasure to give it a chocolate or vanilla flavor.

30 inches and 18 lbs 13 oz

The doctor is not worried about her height, because i'm short and she's growing at a steady pace, but she said she "dropped off the charts" she is not losing but she only gained a few oz in a few months.

I might have to try that!

Even though my kid had an issue with eating, he's a monster now and is still tiny. My brother was bony as a kid but is now huge.

DD was also labeled that. She is 3.5 and only weighs 26 lbs.

She started getting picky at about that age. She does eat but little amounts. If she isn't losing I wouldn't freak out yet.

Have you tried making her pasta and different things?

Hope it works! I know how frustrating it can be.

She's failing to thrive on the charts.

Well that depends on what growth chart they are using. The american academy of pediatrics recommends WHO growth charts. I plotted her on a WHO chart and she is small.... But still on the chart. 5%tile. For weight and height. So for her height she is a great weight.

My son was labeled that around 18 months, can't remember what he weighed at the time, but he is 3 years and 3 months and only 34 inches and 25 lbs. He has been cleared of any kind of internal issue, he is just super picky and genetically super small as I am only 4'9''. There isn't much he will eat but I try to give him lots of the things he likes. And like the others mentioned if she isn't losing that is a good sign. Also my DS's GI doc recommended a feeding therapist, you could try that?

Yeah she loves to eat, she just picks at it and eats little bits throughout the day. I can't get her to just sit down and eat it all.
