Walking your dog...

So I was walking my dog earlier on the sidewalk like EVERYONE and like always I had a bag to pick up his waste. Well all of a sudden this lady with a terrible attitude is like "don't let that dog go here take him back to your house", I was on the sidewalk and he was sniffing the grass on the other side of the sidewalk it wasn't even hers because her house is fenced. For some reason it just made me so mad! I told her that I had a bag if my dog was to poop and that she may own the house but she didn't own the sidewalk, than I just walked away. Was I wrong to say that? I never take my dog out so I don't know what's her problem, maybe I'm overreacting but the way she said it got me so mad!

lol, no.... if you're a poop-bagger, it's not her business.

you are picking up after your dog and you said the dog wasnt even on her property. so she can shut her mouth.

Most people don't even pick up their dogs poop, at least you weren't gonna leave it there.

My theory on those kinds of people is they hate their life and have to bitch about something. I would have said the same thing as you!

Hey, I don't blame you. My dog just recently passed but, people used to give me smurf all the time...He was a pitbull mix, so everyone is 'on edge' about him anyway. Like, people would grab their dogs leashes tighter, and smurf like that. My dog had an amazing temperament. He NEVER barked at other dogs, not once did he see a dog and start barking..he just did his thing.

I actually got into something like you had with a woman up the street (a little different) but, she would do what I mentioned earlier, grab her dog's leash and go, "HURRY COME ON!" and walk the other way..but, I ALWAYS pick up after my dog. This lady comes down to my yard EVERY DAY with her little yappy dog that never shuts up and lets it smurf in my yard and doesn't pick it up. One day she was right outside my house and I took my dog out and she got real snippy with me and said, "Can't you wait until we're up the street." I said, "THIS IS MY SmUrfING HOUSE AND MY SmUrfING YARD! No, I won't wait..why don't you take your dog and let him smurf in your yard? You bring him down here and he smurfs in my grass and you just leave it there, if I see it again I'm picking it up and putting it on your doorstep."

I was also pregnant and angry.

I have a Chihuahua and usually when he's in the house he barks at any little noise but when I take him outside he behaves sooo good! He sees other dogs, people and just keeps walking like he never saw anything. I'd understand her for saying something to me if she always saw me walking my dog in front of her house and leaving his smurf there but I never walk him!! Last time I walked him was around January at a park and I cleaned up after him. This was the first time this bitchy lady saw me in her life. All I wanted to do was for my dog to smurf, pick it up and throw it at her face.
