re: Blighted Ovum

The staff in the recovery room told me it's normal for women to wake up afterwards crying bc of the emotional stress of the procedure and what it means, etc. I remember waking up crying "my babies, my babies, they're gone" and passing back out again. The worst part seems to be the emotional recovery of it all. That part no one really can prepare you for it. If you ever wanna chat I'm around. Sorry again  

Has anyone on here had a Blighted Ovum and NOT had the DC op?

It took about a week for the majority of the "stuff" to come out but I was bleeding for a total of 2 months afterwards :/ although everyone I have spoke to... it seemed to take much less time for them so maybe i was an anomili lol

Thank goodness I only "bled" very lightly for about 4 days. I guess now I'm just waiting on my period to start.

Im sure it will start soon, I dont know about anyone else but before I had the miscarriage my periods were like clockwork. Always a 28 day cycle but since, that seems to have changed and it went anywhere from a 25 -32 day cycle making pin pointing ovulation tricky. So I would recomend buying some of those ovulation testing kits you can get ;)

But you never know.. might not happen for you anyway! I wish you all the luck in the world and i hope one day you have a healthy baby because god knows we all deserve one! xx

y this is just the sight i needed im in my 9th week have had 2 trans vaginal ultra sounds and both showed sac no baby 1st one measured 6 weeks doc said go home wait for a M/C if nothing happens we will do blood work...then another Trans vaginal a week later measured 6 weeks 6 days my hcg levels were in the 20thousands.... my doc... wont give me any answers... he just said maybe it is just to small to see, i dont feel pregnant in the lease bit... they called me today and said doc isnt in today he will call you tomorrow... my hubby and i have read and re read everything i just want off this rollercoster... and start healing so we can try again what to you guys suggest
