Okay, I get the above sentences are contradictory. Someone I liked a lot just told me to "smurf off." So that's it then, huh? That's all I meant to that person, and kind of the reason I've been acting like a bitch! I knew it was over!

Just fill me in, ENLIGHTEN me, will you? How do people even find themselves in relationships? I'm not fat or ugly, but even people who are, can find happiness with another person. So clearly, that isn't the reason I'm single.

But I keep finding myself, yes, GETTING USED. Guess it doesn't matter if my vagina has a great personality or not! Tired of giving and getting nothing in return other than sex! Which, don't get me wrong, was great and all. (consults tissue box).

Granted, I have a kid with no father, so I'm a full-time single mom. 'Tis true, most guys are not willing to sign up to play daddy to a child they didn't help in creating. BUT IT DOES HAPPEN ALL THE TIME. People fall in love and make sacrifices.

I have my own place, my own car, a college degree, my smurf together -- smurf, that should be enough to make me happy right?

in re relationships... my view is simple. if you feel you're being used for sex, you probably are. you gotta play hard to get. hell, you gotta BE hard to get.
why would a boy commit, if he doesn't have to?
relationships are hard, why would a boy work hard, unless he HAD TO?

reason why everyone used to get married back in the day is because that was the only way for boys to get some....

My friend has the same problem complains about how he cant find a good girl but the only girls he goes and smurfs are strippers and slutty girls with a bad reputaion he brags about all his money and all he gets is a bunch of gold diggers. I dont understand how he doesn't see why he is still single.

Don't have sex. I don't mean it in a bitcy way, because my SO and I ended up having sex. We just liked each other a lot after, lol. I got lucky, I thought he'd be a one night stand. 2 years going strong. Sex is fun and it sucks not doing it, but a lot of douche bags will use you for sex if you give it up. My best friend is a slut and doesn't understand why she can't stick with a guy, lol.

I feel the same way.. Everyone around has and can keep a relationship.. I don't know why I can't.

  where are u meeting guys at?? I was a lot like u, but I met random guys and was always going back to my exs and finally I just thought well let's try something different lol I met my now husband at work and he's the complete opposite of me, and somehow we worked out...

I used to dance and the guys attracted to that are just idiots... I'm sorry hope things get better for u...

Ha! Where DID I meet this gem? A park bench... no joke LOL! Actually, it was on a private property. I was like thinking, "OMG wow, he's so cute. I bet he's taken. They all are! Or if he's not, he's not into moms."

(I was blind, waiting for new glasses. Had an eye infection from my contacts and needed to get diapers, but the sun was going down and all I had were prescription glasses.)

He was super sweet. Asked me for my number and out to dinner. Almost didn't give it to him. I thought he was boring and quiet. Then a week later, this lady crashed into my car, and I had no way to get to work. He was there, on time, everyday to take me. He took my trash for me. He did my dishes! Then I had sex with him and he never did a damn thing for me again. He'd still want to come and have me cook him dinner, play with my baby. He only has his son on the weekends.

One day, it occurred to me that he's never introduced me to his son, but I'm letting him see my daughter? I ended that asap. I told him he could only come over after my daughter was sleeping. He was very butt hurt about it. But I was butt hurt that he's still hiding me from his friends because he doesn't want his baby's mom to find out. Why? Because he still wants her and his family back together. I get that, I really do. I guess single dads are never really "single."

Ahhhh that sucks, my husband now, knew I had a baby but he only seen him once in a while... that's weird that he changed so drastic after sex...

I was always quick to just have sex and try for the relationship after... that never worked tho lol

same here very simlar 2yrs together and i thought be a one nighter... i had 3 daughters he had 0 kids... cept now im 35 wks and got left friday! I WAS SINGLE RARELY DATED FOR 5 YRS!!! ima remain celebant (sp) when my son is born.... yes im bitter and mad i hate i suffer from ptsd... y im single again

I feel your pain...I am 7 months pregnant and single. I have found a couple of guys that liked me and as soon as I tell them i like them too, they disappear. i mean...WTF! I had a guy wanting to be with me for literally MONTHS. I got put in the hospital a few weeks ago and he stayed up all night to talk to me and offered to come up there..after that I decided he was really a good guy and maybe I should give him a chance...well guess what! Now he says he is still interested but has too much on his plate right now. ughh you have GOT to be kidding me!! Sorry for that rant, but I feel a little better. haha.

I would like to say it will be all right and you will eventually find the right one, but how cliche is that?! I guess we have no choice other than to sit back and wait.
