Needing help with babyboy names!

I'm having a mixed child and wanting to give him a unique name, I'd like other bg mom's help!   THANK YOU!

what is your child's background going to be and by unique are you talking something that comes from his background or something made up?

Have you thought of naming him after his father (assuming you two are still together)
I'd get a baby name book. That's how we came up with ours.   I have no clue what you would like.

Is there a specific ethnic background you would like to honor?

I named my boys and I just found names that ment something or where just awesome to me!! For my 2nd son I looked at names from different countries, my 1st is named after my fav actor  

Lol that cracks me up. Why everyone thinks they have to have a unique or "black" name because they are having a mixed child is beyond me. I mean black people have normal names too.

See, from an ethnicity standpoint, I can kind of understand where they are coming from - my SO would like a hispanic name for the middle, but if it's not an actual ethnic name, it cracks me up, too.

Im having a mixed baby boy as well and I'm naming him Dominic   it can be a unique name but it doesn't necessarily have to be a "black" name. Some of those names really make me cringe!

What I find even more funny is how mixed kids automatically translates to black and white child to most people my son is White, Native american, Mexican and Cuban and his name is Gabriel my second child is White, Native american and Asian both mixed both not black and both will/have normal names

LOL, I know, right? Any child I have with my SO will be white, native american and mexican.

lol it is just something that has bugged me....

my son came out looking more like me he has fair skin, dirty blonde hair like i did at his age and blue eyes so trying to explain hes mixed in any way get's results i don't care for the line i hate the most is are you sure..... not all mixed kids have a black background and not all mixed kids have a tan lol
