TurboFire *My accountablity thread*

Feel free to completely ignore this post or not   This is just another way for me to keep accountable for what I have planned.

I did P90X last summer and had great results. I was toned, fit, and at a decent weight. I got lazy though, and now I need to get back into it. This time I've decided to try out TurboFire.

I'm starting tomorrow morning with the Prep Schedule. That will last about 12 weeks before I get into a regular schedule that incorporates HIIT workouts into it. I'll be keeping track of my progress on the Team Beachbody website as well as MyFitnessPal (once I remember my login info), and here.

If anyone does pay attention to this thread and has done the TurboFire program before, how did it go for you?

I'm on week 7 & I love it!!! Chalene is so motivational!

That's what I keep hearing is that those that have done it are hooked. People call it their "soul mate" workout or something, lol. I'm hoping it's as addicting as people say. I have a problem with becoming too bored with workout routines.

I couldn't sleep so I decided to just get the first workout done. I selected the "new to class" option, which was a big help in making sure I didn't get too lost. I still got lost, lol. It'll take a bit to learn the choreography and to be able to keep up, but for a first workout, it was really fun!

Today's workout was a Stretch/Yoga type workout, which was needed seeing as the soreness was starting to set in from yesterday's workout

So far I'm enjoying it   I know I need to push myself a little harder though. It's just really difficult to keep up when I'm still learning the moves, lol. How has your progress been?

It's been awesome. I'm starting week 8 tomorrow. I have lost about 6 inches and 5.5lbs. And my endurance is out of this world lol. I can't say anything but wonderful things about Turbo.

Did you start with the Prep Schedule or just the regular? I started with the prep schedule to condition myself for the HIIT training in the regular schedule.

Regular schedule. I figure what the heck lol. I took a few days, more like 2 weeks, to get the moves down. But for the most part I have them down now. It's more about exaggerating it now and just constantly moving.

I did the Tone 30 class today so no need to concentrate on moves really, lol. My muscles are really tired right now, but on the plus side, she introduced my new favorite way to do crunches without killing my back and hips!

Fire 45 EZ tomorrow for me. I take it there is nothing "EZ" about it?

Not at all! I did that one today, and I think it's harder than the normal fire 45. In fire 45 there are 2 HITT workouts so you get that 1 minute rest afterwards. In Fire 45EZ is just straight through, no break. I have that one again, tomorrow.
