I know what you mean, it's a clean edit. I did my best to get the shadow off half her face.

I seriously walked around my house to try to find something that screamed "empty" for me...and that's all I got >_> LOL.

I tried that and failed. ROFL! How did you do that if you don't mind me asking?

(I know to shoot in open shade, light behind her, etc... this was just goofing off in hubby's grandparent's backyard after Thanksgiving.. lol!)

I ran an action called shadow killer and then used the dodge tool to lighten up the other half of her face.

My mind would have gone to food. ROFL! Like a nearly empty glass or a plate with only remnants or crumbs left from food... stuff like that. Or a bottle of body wash with nothing in it. LOL! Or maybe my daughter's swing without her in it. (That would be empty right?) So I like where your mind went with it.

Thank you so much! I can use photoshop to make scrapbook pages and siggies, but for it's intended purpose? LOL! Not so much! ROFL!!! I'll get the hang of it. And photography in general. Takes practice.

I picked up the tip from Brandi adding contrast to bw, amazing. I love the look and feel of it.
