I'd say the biggest issue is just the harsh shadows. Which has nothing to do with photoshop but just where you place her.

This too. Try shooting with the sun behind her or in the shade.

It's black and white now.   I do like it better... maybe? LOL! I don't know.

I like it better, I would just up the brightness and increase the contrast…but I like my B&Ws a bit more "gritty".

Just booked my deposit for a boudoir shoot.  

Upped contrast and brightness.

I did her bed because it's ALWAYS empty...because she leaves in the middle of the night to come snuggle with us...

I think there's too much contrast personally.

I like it! It's not a stupid photo at all.   To you, that is what comes to mind when you think of empty.
