Hi everyone. We're at the in-laws so I can't read through everything. I saw someone had asked about a ring flash. They are usually used for macro, although I have seen some photragrahers using them in portait shoots too. I don't have a true ring flas but I have the Oh Flash which is a ring flash adapter that fits over my speedlight.

Sorry I'm on my ipad and can't figure out how to post direct links but here are a couple of my blog posts showing and using the Oh Flash.

ETA: was able to get on my laptop and do the links properly.
Does anyone know how to add images or links using an ipad here on Baby Gaga? I don't have the row of options (B i link image   code) on my ipad that I do on my computer or laptop.

Getting a speedlight off camera is the way to go. A basic set up can be very inexpensive.

What about umbrellas or soft boxes for the speed lights?

Artificial lighting is the hardest thing for me lol. I understand natural lighting and how to work with it but other than bouncing a flash off the ceiling I'm lost

Softboxes make nicer light. I had.. I left it at a Dave and Busters after a session and haven't gone back to get it.. a softbox umbrella from Cheetah Stands that was amazing. Super quick to set up but nice softbox light. But umbrellas generally are super fast as well.

You have to download s third party internet app and in is menu you would select view desktop version and you'll be able to see BG like normal.   Not sure if Apples stock browser allows you to

Having a fun wintery session today with a local photographer, we're just going to play around and take photos of each other. I'm kind of excited to just do something for fun for once and have no pressure!   Great way to end the year.
