Thanks! I actually don't do as much editing. I mostly crop/brighten/and clone out runny noses/spots.

I feel like he isn't as chunky anymore.   I think he is thinning out.

What setting do you have the camera on on the dial? And did you flip it MF?

It's ok. I could mess around later and try and see what I can do.

i am. my lens is keeping all the lights in focus. im like 12feet away from my tree. is that far back enough?

I have no idea... But you turn your lens to make it our of focus do you know how to turn MF on?

Manual mode. MF. Fstop 5.6. (it wont let me go lower). shutter speed 1/160.

Did you switch your lens from AF to MF?
