Yeah I would really suggest tagging along or assisting to 'try before you buy' lol. Weddings are an interesting beast. I have enjoyed many of them but I'm kind of over it. It's a smurf load of work and while I've been pretty lucky to have mild and super cool brides .. you can get some real crazy people. Weddings make people insane.

  Dude. my sister was a bridezilla. HORRIBLE. I almost passed out in the Savannah heat. DEAD of summer. 108 outside and humidity was like 90% or some smurf.

Yeah I felt awful at our wedding. We got married Sept 29th outdoors and it's such a crapshoot you know.. ended up being like 95 degrees outside. If only I could do it over LOL.

i cant way to mess around with my camera some more.. im seriously thinking about taking a class.

I use soft proof when I want to check how the colors of my digital picture are going to print out. I have the ICC profiles from the different labs I use and the different products I print saved on my computer. So if I know I'm going to print a canvas from a certain lab, I can press soft proof and choose the ICC profile I want to check and will be able to see if I need to make some corrections to my image before sending it off for printing. I do this in CS5 too (I always edit using the ICC profile from the lab I know I will be using for printing the files).

ETA: of course this only works if you are working on a calibrated monitor to begin with!
