Quoting L☮J:" Well considering I sold my working kit lens for like $60 on CL I don't think you'd get very much."

Ok, thanks for the honesty   Wasn't too sure. Maybe I'll just get it repaired and keep it. lol

Yeah, IDK. Not many people are looking for a kit lens   I'd just keep it!

Omg is anyone on? Probably not but if you are, HALP.

DH is letting me order my D7000 and I need to decide which lens to get.

I already have a 50mm 1.8 and I was thinking of just getting the 50 1.4, but I also saw the 35 1.8. Would the 35 be more versatile, or should I stick with the 50?

congrats, that's awesome! Sorry I'm no help with the lens choice really, I would probably go with the 50 1.4

I got the 35 for the wider focal length

Eeeek I can't wait.

We did it through Bill Me Later with 6 months no interest or payments, I'm so happy

When I had my cropped sensor camera, I loved the 35mm 1.8. In fact, I had exactly what you would have, the 50mm 1.8 for outside and the 35mm 1.8 for inside. I sold my 35mm when I went full frame because it is a DX lens and doesn't work so well with a full frame camera but I loved it on my D90. If you're planning on staying cropped sensor for awhile, I would get the 35mm.

Quoting tinana +2:" What might one pay for something like this? It needs to be repaired- it functions but not the way it should. It will probably be about $40 to fix. It's a Nikon Nikkor AF 18-55mm. "
Personally I would pay nothing for a kit lens that didn't even work right.

Anyone have any CC? I wish I had put him in different clothes, I don't like how they look in the pictures.

haha yeah. It does it free the first time apparently. There's 487 organic, 607 viral, and 3,804 paid apparently. I have no clue what the difference in paid is.
