Brandi has that one. She uses it to get those "up close" shots of the nose and eyes and hair and nose and stuff on newbs.   She recommended it to me a bit back. Said it's an excellent macro lens.

that's what i was thinking of using it for….I have my gift card, and I've spent some of it, btu I could return the few things I bought, and instead spend the gift card on that.

Ok. So I set up my PnS on my tripod to see what it could do.

The max aperture on it is 3.5   So I dropped the ISO to 100 and the shutter speed was 2 secs. VS f 1.8 and shutter 1/40 on my Nikon.

PnS: Don't mind the smurffy cloning on the left, this was just an experiment  

DSLR:

It's really good quality really, even at 100% crop....But it's much easier to just shoot it handheld with my Nikon,

On her newborn tips she said that and the 50 are the main ones she brings to newb sessions.

It should be fine. Quantity 1 = One yard (three feet) and the increments are 1/8 yard, etc. I normally get about 2 yards.
