BUT, I did get two of my friends with little ones to come over tonight yet for me to do simlar portraits for their kiddos. and their kiddos listen like a damn dream. So that will be a nice change of pace

I used a 50 mm lens….Becca has this program that tells you all of my settings…BECCA! come tell me what my settings were

But jesus that newborn session was a nightmare.

Mom and grandma were all up in my grill the whole time.

I wasn't allowed to even touch the baby let alone pose her.

Grandmas hand is in EVERY. SINGLE. SHOT. Whether it be actually IN the shot or behind the backdrop wrinkling it. Because my supports on the bean bag totally weren't enough.

And they had like 0293840239843098 props that they used. Like they would put the baby in these props without asking me anything.

They also kept pushing the baby over the edge. Like mom kept wrapping dog tags around babys arm and she was getting pissed, and mom was getting angry that she wasn't cooperating. I kept saying she probably needs a break, feed her and we will come back to it. I said that like 5 times before they listened.

I'm frustrated. The photos smurfing suck. I won't be able to use any of them for marketing. And needless to say, I'm going to be changing my contract and writing a "what to expect" letter to mail out to the client as soon as they book.

I'm not Becca, but I can tell you that your EXIF is stripped. I'm not sure if it's the way you saved it or the way it's hosted but nope, can't read it.

for me, when it comes to black and white, I up the exposure and the contrast quite a bit. that's just how I like my B&Ws though.
