Why do you need backdrop material for a wedding? Do you know how to bounce flash?

I think it's cute, my only comment really is his skin feels a little on the hot side. Nothing is blown but you've got a bit over 240 which is pretty hot. It's primarily the left cheek (viewing wise) and side of the nose.

How do you do that?

Levels layer in photoshop, slide the black slider under the histogram all the way toward the right and you'll see.. You can stop it at various numbers (like I did at 240) to see everything that's above that particular number. It's a good way to show blown pixels if you can't really detect it with your eyes.

As far as blown stuff goes, it's kind of a relative rule. If you're shooting with back lighting and you have very small portions of the edges of arms/hair blown.. not really a big deal..

I have a Nikon D3100 and like it; however, if I knew I was going to be so into photography I would of spend the extra money and got a camera with a autofocus motor.

The bride wants me to setup in a part of the reception almost like a photobooth type area. She wants people to be able to come over and pose for me. It's hard because she's spanish speaking and I can't understand fully.

does she just want a simple plain background or something with design on it? Will the pictures be full body, including the floor or will you only be able to see the background?

I've never done anything like this but I guess depending on what she wants, it can't be too difficult to find a background that would suit.
